Annual Mission Appeal
Although Sister Gloriosa Komba is unable to visit us this year, St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish is pleased to once again support the African Benedictine Sisters of Our Lady of Help of Christians in Mtwara, Tanzania, through our Annual Mission Appeal this weekend, October 24-25. The Sisters serve their communities through evangelization, caring for the sick and elderly, educating children, training youth, and empowering women and girls. This year’s appeal will help provide clean, safe water, support orphaned and vulnerable children, and make much-needed improvements to the Sister’s monastery. We ask every parishioner to prayerfully consider making a generous gift to this year’s Mission Appeal. Your financial support can make a real and lasting difference in the lives of the children, families, and communities the Sisters serve. Your generosity helps provide safe drinking water, gives vulnerable children the care they need, opens doors to education, and sustains the Sisters’ mission to bring Christ’s love and hope to those most in need. Please give as generously as you are able. Together, through our shared generosity, we can help the Sisters
continue this vital work. Learn more about the Sisters! Thank you for your generosity, your prayers, and your commitment to sharing Christ’s love with those in need. May God bless you for helping the African Benedictine Sisters continue their mission.
