The Knights of Columbus Council 1090 has faith fully served the Immaculate Conception Church community in Terryville, CT for generations through a commitment to faith, charity and brotherhood. Guided by the principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism, the council provides Catholic men with opportunities to grow spiritually while making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Council 1090 is an active partner in the mission of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, supporting the parish through volunteer service, fundraising efforts, community outreach, and assistance with parish and community events. Whether serving at parish celebrations, supporting charitable causes, promoting respect for life, or lending a helping hand to those in need, the Knights strive to be the hands and feet of Christ in our community.
The Knights of Columbus was founded in 1882 by Blessed Michael J. McGivney to strengthen Catholic families and provide support for widows, orphans, and those facing hardship. Today, that same mission continues through local councils like Council 1090, whose members live their faith through service to God, the Church, and the community.
Membership in Council 1090 is open to practicing Catholic men age 18 and older.
