Parishioners are invited to attend the Lenten Lunches being held each week during Lent. Lunches begin at 12:30 PM and offer a simple meal and time for fellowship during this sacred season. The cost is $5 per person with all proceeds donated to a local charity. All are welcome – come, share a meal, and support those in need as we journey together through Lent. The schedule is as follows:
February 24 – Plymouth Congregational Church
March 3 – Terryville Congregational Church
March 10 – St. Michael’s Ukrainian Church
March 17 – Holy Trinity Lutheran Church
March 24 – St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish (The Lyceum)
All parishioners are invited to attend the Lenten Luncheon Planning Meeting on Monday, February 23rd, at 2:00 PM at St. Casimir’s Church Hall. St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish will host the Lenten Luncheon on Tuesday, March 24th. We need your help to make this event a success! Volunteers are needed for preparation and set-up on March 23rd, as well as the day of the luncheon. Bakers are also needed. You may drop off your baked goods the day of the luncheon. Any time you are able to give will be greatly appreciated. If you cannot attend the meeting, have questions, or wish to help in any way, please call Mary Jean at 860 582 3733.
