During Lent we will once again hear the words “prayer, fasting and penance” as ways of growing closer to God on our Christian journey. How do we turn these words into deep spiritual practices that last throughout the year for all of us on this sacred pilgrimage of faith? Come explore this question and experience a renewal of the goodness that is within each one of us.
On Wednesday, March 6, St. Casimir’s Rosary Society of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish will hold their annual Ash Wednesday Retreat at Holy Family Passionist Retreat Center in West Hartford. This year’s theme will be “A Lenten Path to Holiness: Finding Wholeness in Our Spiritual Practices.” The program is $40 and includes Celebration of the Eucharist and a meal. All members of our parish are invited to attend. Please call Dorine at 860 584 5303 for more information and to register.
